A V-Ring from Rubber Craft is a premium solid rubber seal designed for shafts to effectively block dirt, moisture, and other contaminants from infiltrating oil seals, housings, or any critical area, while reliably retaining lubricants. Engineered for precision, it stretches over the shaft to form a secure seal, with its flexible lip creating a light, yet effective, seal against the counterface at a right angle to the shaft.

Rubber Craft’s V-Rings perform exceptionally on their own and deliver outstanding results when paired with rotary shaft seals, significantly extending the lifespan of bearings, oil seals, and shafts. For enhanced durability, Rubber Craft’s Gamma Seals offer the same high-performance sealing as V-Rings, reinforced with a protective metal case for added strength and reliability.

 

VL V-Ring: Available from 99MM ID to 540MM ID. They have a short mounting length and are designed for use when the sealing house is limited or as part of a labyrinth sealing application

Benefits

• Simple – Little prep required when installing. Simply ensure the shaft is clean and try, apply a film of lubricant to the v-ring lip, and slide the v-ring down until the flexible lip contacts the counterface. The lip presses against counterface with little pressure and friction
• Economical – Wide tolerances allow one v-ring to fit multiple shaft sizes and to account for substantial shaft misalignment and eccentricity in the shaft. Its durability ensures a long work life and that it won’t be damaged during installation
